Mike Collins Launches Veterans Coalition with over 300 Endorsements
Jackson, Georgia – Today, leading Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Collins launched his Veterans for Mike Coalition with the support of over 300 Georgia and prominent national veterans. The coalition will recruit, mobilize, and engage with veterans across Georgia and help guide Collins’ veterans policy.
The coalition includes veterans from five military branches, spanning from the Vietnam Era to the Global War on Terror, with a breadth of experience among officers, enlisted personnel, and Special Operations Forces, including Navy SEALs and Army Special Forces.
Collins tapped former Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander-in-Chief Alfred “Al” Lipphardt, a Georgia native and decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, to serve as National Chairman for Veterans for Mike.
“Leadership isn’t about words—it’s about actions to keep your word. Jon Ossoff has treated our veterans like a line item in a budget, and I know that Mike Collins will keep his word and support Georgia’s veterans in the U.S. Senate,” said Veterans for Mike National Chairman Al Lipphardt. “You have to believe in what you do and do what you believe in. I’m proud to chair Veterans for Mike because I believe in his mission and know that he will always prioritize our veterans.”
“As a retired Navy SEAL, I know a fighter when I see one,” said National Co-Chair, Congressman Derrick Van Orden. “Mike has been fighting for America First values in Congress since day one. I trust Mike to stand up for our veterans and enlisted personnel at all costs.”
