MEET MIKE

Mike is a small business owner, America First fighter, and Georgia’s Conservative Workhorse from Jackson, Georgia. Mike started his first trucking business at age 25, starting out with one semi-truck and growing to employ over one hundred drivers today. Mike has led three successful businesses that have grown Georgia’s economy and helped families live and prosper.

In Congress, Collins took the work ethic he learned from sweeping floors after class at his dad’s shop to being a relentless fighter for common sense Conservative policies.

In just two years, Collins passed two bills into law under two presidents–the TRANQ Act and Laken Riley Act–and got it done the old fashion way: knocking on doors, listening to problems, and finding solutions. His dedication to America First policies was recognized by House Leadership which appointed him to the House Whip Team to ensure that President Trump’s agenda moved through Congress.

Collins was also noticed for his dedication to eliminating government bureaucracy and identifying inefficiencies, leading him to being named Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment.

When Laken Riley was murdered in Athens, Georgia by an illegal alien, Collins made a promise to the Riley family that he would fight to make sure that no one would have to live through their pain again. He delivered by passing the Laken Riley Act and making it the first bill that President Trump signed in his second term.

Collins has supported President Trump since the 2016 Primary, and he hasn’t looked back. Since then, Collins has been a constant figure at Trump Rallies, office openings, and events in Georgia and around the country.

Mike and his wife Leigh Ann have three kids: Dakota, Dylan and Summer, and six grandkids. They enjoy giving back to their community, where Mike has served as President of the Butts County Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Georgia’s Associated Credit Union and Georgia Motor Trucking Association. They attend Rock Springs Church in Milner.

Knowing that President Trump would need a Republican Congress to deliver the America First Agenda, Collins campaigned across the country in the most competitive Congressional elections to secure an America First Congress that would have President Trump’s back.
