Issues
Bipartisanship / Compromise
Compromise is not surrendering your values. Too often in Washington, Democrats think compromise means Republicans giving in. I've shown you can work across the aisle while standing firm on conservative principles.
With the Laken Riley Act, I worked both parties because I knew we needed pressure on the Senate, not just a House vote. Some Democrats told me I was the first Republican to personally ask for their help on legislation. Meanwhile, Jon Ossoff sat silently while I explained how we could protect Georgians from illegal immigrant crime.
My background in the trucking business taught me real-world leadership: knowing when to negotiate, when to stand firm, and how to get results. In business, bad decisions have consequences. Washington rarely understands that. We need more leaders in the Senate who know how to fight for conservative values and still get things done.
Economy
President Trump and Republicans are pulling America back from the economic disaster left by Joe Biden and Jon Ossoff. Mortgage rates are falling, tax refunds are rising, and families are starting to feel relief again.
We're making America affordable by reshoring jobs, investing in technical education, and putting American workers first. My bipartisan Aviation Workforce Development Act allows families to use 529 plans for technical and career training, helping more young people build successful careers without taking on massive debt.
We're already seeing progress, but there's more to do. In the Senate, I'll fight to cut regulations, unleash the free market, and create an economy where businesses can grow, workers can thrive, and families can get ahead again.
Housing Affordability
Housing costs are too high because supply is too low and demand has exploded. We need mass deportations, lower interest rates, and less government red tape driving up construction costs.
Under President Trump, home prices have already started to stabilize, but we need to go further. My PERMIT Act streamlines the permitting process that delays projects and increases the cost of homebuilding across the country. It passed the House and is now in the Senate.
We also need to create more opportunities for young Americans by bringing jobs back home and investing in technical education and skilled trades. The American Dream should still be achievable for the next generation, and that starts with making homes more affordable and the economy stronger.
Foreign Policy
I believe in peace through strength. Under Joe Biden, America became weaker and our enemies took advantage of us. Under President Trump, America is respected again.
We should never apologize for being the greatest country on Earth. We must stand by our allies, defend freedom, and project strength abroad, but we cannot keep writing blank checks with taxpayer dollars.
It's unacceptable that American veterans are struggling at home while politicians send billions overseas without accountability. We need an America First foreign policy that prioritizes our citizens, protects our national interests, and ensures our allies carry their share of the burden.
Out of Control Government Spending
Washington's reckless spending and fraud are out of control. Taxpayer dollars have become a piggy bank for wasteful programs and political pet projects that do nothing for American families.
The Biden administration spent billions on electric vehicle chargers and produced only a handful of stations. Billions more were spent helping resettle illegal immigrants while Americans struggled with inflation and rising costs.
We also need to crack down on fraud. Massive Medicaid scams and abuse of taxpayer dollars continue because Washington lacks accountability. That must end. Government should focus on serving citizens, protecting national security, and spending tax dollars responsibly. In the Senate, I'll fight to make government smaller, smarter, and accountable to the American people.
